Gulmi Bikas Bank, the 70th development bank of the country, is starting operation from Thursday. The bank received permission from Nepal Rastra Bank on Sept. 22. The bank has been established by owners of remittance companies, local entrepreneurs, bankers and chartered accountants. The bank is planning to issue its general shares to the public next October.
