Machhapuchhre marks anniv

Machhapuchhre Bank Limited, the first regional commercial bank to start business from Pokhara, marked its 10th anniversary on Saturday. The bank with its 116,500 base customers also announced on Saturday that it would soon open 10 new branches. It also plans to expand additional 10 ATMs across the country this year. Currently, the bank has 31 branches with 35 ATMs spread across the nation.

According to a press release issued by the bank, it plans to operate its own 'card switching system' this year in order to make its ATM services more reliable and efficient. The preparation for issuing Visa Debit Card for the customers is also in the final stage.
