The Vibor Bikas Bank Ltd. is set to float its Initial Public Offering IPO in the primary market starting from 10th of June, 2009. The IPO of Rs. 265,200,000 at Rs. 100 each will hit the market. The NMB bank ltd has been appointed the issue manager and the forms could be filled and registered from more than 24 collection centers including the corporate of the bank at Tripureshwor.
The bank has the authorized capital of Rs. 2.04 billion and the issued capital is Rs. 680 million out of which the bank has issued 39 percent to the general public worth Rs. 265.2 million at Rs. 100 per share.
The main objective of the bank is to provide banking service by collecting the disbursed capital and investing it at the most potential sectors of the economy. The bank also has been investing in the agricultural, tourism, hydropower, services, housing and the business sectors.
Vibor Bikas Bank Ltd. started its banking operation as a National Level B Class Development Bank from 4th October, 2007 from its corporate office at Tripureshwor-11, Kathmandu. The bank is run by highly professionals and the young bankers and the top managements of the bank have banking experience of more than 15 years. The bank further plans to extend its banking services to different part of the country as per the directives of the central bank – Nepal Rastra Bank.
