The Capital Merchant Banking and Finance Limited has opened its third branch at Rabi Bhawan in Kathmandu. The new branch was inaugurated by chairman and managing director of the company Bigyan Prasad Poudel on Monday.
The company has also installed automated teller machines (ATMs) at Rabi Bhawan and Battisputali and has started offering any branch banking service (ABBS) from these two outlets.
A press release issued by the company on Monday quoting Poudel as saying: “The finance company will soon install ATMs in Pokhara and Butwal branches and offer ABBS from those offices.” The company, with a paid up capital of Rs 373.80 million, has so far collected Rs 1.92 billion in deposits and extended Rs 2.05 billion in loans.
