Global Bank has opened a new branch in Kuleshwar, Kathmandu. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the new branch on Monday. The new branch is also equipped with an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), according to a press release issued by the bank.
In a span of two and half years, the bank has opened branch offices in various places including Kantipath, New Road, Bauddha, Gyaneshwar and Kirtipur. Branches were also opened in Birgunj, Narayanghat, Butwal, Pokhara, Baglung, Lahan and Biratnagar. Similarly, 20 ATMs were also installed in this period.
The bank now plans to open new branches in Nepalgunj, Lamki of Kailali, Dadeldhura, Gaighat of Udaypur, Lagankhel and Dhapasi and Dhulabari of Jhapa, states the release. “Four more ATMs will also be brought into operation in near future.”
