Bank of Asia to provide 5% cash dividend

The 47th BOD meeting held on 31 August 2009 (2066 Bhadra 15) has decided to provide cash dividend from the profit of fiscal year 2065/66. The dividend will be finalized after approval from Bank's upcoming AGM and NRB.

According to fourth quarter financial report of the bank, it has earned Rs. 61.510 millions net profit and Rs. 92.826 millions operating profit. The bank has Rs. 1 billion paid up capital and Rs. 65.972 millions in its reserve and surplus. Borrowings of bank stand at Rs. 1.409 billions and have deposits of Rs. 8.875 billions. NPL to total loan is 0.01% and total loan loss provision to NPL is 18364.92 percent.
