Citizens Bank has opened its 12th branch in Dhangadhi. The branch was inaugurated by Bal Krishna Prasai, one of the promoters of the bank, on Friday, according to a press statement issued by the bank.The bank is now planning to open more branch offices in Kalanki, Thahiti, Naya Bazar and Maitidevi of Kathmandu and Birtamod in Jhapa.
The bank had made an operating profit of Rs 184.5 million in the last fiscal year. It had collected Rs 11.52 billion and extended Rs 8.21 billion in loans in that year.
