The Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) on Friday opened its new branch at New Baneshwor. This is the 24th branch of the Bank.Manoj Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of HBL inaugurated the new branch amidst a function.
On the occasion, Shrestha, highlighted the current activities and achievements the bank made as of the end of first month of the current fiscal year. According to him, deposit base of the bank has reached to the size of Rs. 37,976 million and loan portfolio at Rs. 25,904 million, said a press statement issued by HBL.
The bank registered gross operating profit of Rs. 1.16 billion in the same period.
Shrestha said that the bank was planning to extend its branch network in additional 10 locations and ATM network in 20 more locations within the current fiscal year. The bank has 40 ATMs counters providing services across the country.
