Annapurna Bikash Bank Ltd. has decided to provide 15 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit of fiscal year 2065/66. The BOD meeting held on 14th September 2009 (2066 Bhadra 29) on Banepa had decided to provide the dividend which is subject to approval from the central bank and its upcoming AGM.
According to fourth quarter financial report of the bank, it has earned Rs. 24.852 million and Rs. 39.053 million as operating profit. Likewise, the bank has Rs. 210 millions in its paid up capital and hold Rs. 42.036 million as reserve and surplus.
The bank with the head office in Kavre (Banepa) is operating from six different venues. Hetuada, Kamalamai Municipality of Sindhuli, Ghaighat of Udayapur, Panchkhal of Kavre and Nijghad of Bara are the branches of ABBL providing banking facilities to the rural areas of Nepal. The bank has also decided to open new branches in different sector of the country and plan to upgrade the regional level development bank into National level development bank in the near future, for this reason it is increasing its paid up capital with issuing 1:2.2 right share.
