The Management Association of Nepal (MAN) is organising its 29th national management convention and annual general meeting on Feb. 4-5, 2009. The event will have experts from five countries presenting their papers.
D.N. Khurana, former chairman of the All India Management Association, and Wilson Toy, executive director of the Malaysian Management Association, will present papers on leadership and change management in the context of the Asian region.
Likewise, Nirvana Chaudhary and Sanju Amatya will present papers on young Nepali managers' vision for a prosperous Nepal. Similarly, Sanjiv Goenka, president of the All India Management Association, and Hirono Ryakichi will present papers on open ideas on innovation and change management.
The opening day will also see a panel discussion on building corporate culture in Nepal by leading CEOs of Nepal. On the second day, Ratnakar Adhikari and Purusottam Ojha will present the perspectives of the private sector and the government on Nepal's WTO compliance and resulting economic gains.
