Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said on Saturday that the government offices could use the items produced by the various micro, cottage and small industries to ensure them a good market. "I see a huge market for such products in the government offices," said the prime minister, after observing the ongoing 10th Cottage Industry Festival and National Industrial Expo. "The improved stove could be used in the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force," said Prime Minister Nepal. "The government offices can also purchase various gift items."
Prime Minister Nepal also underscored the need of taking the local products to international market to enhance exports. President of the Federation of Nepalese Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) Lata Pyakurel said that Prime Minister Nepal has assured them that the government will work in tandem with the FNCSI to promote micro, cottage and small enterprises in the country.
