RBB earns Rs 180m

The Biratnagar branch of Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) earned the profit of Rs. 180 million last fiscal year.

Despite the opening of many private banks, the bank succeeded in earning the net profit worth Rs. 144.7 million in the fiscal year 2065-066, said branch manager Gopal Prasad Poudel.

The bank also recovered the bad debt of Rs. 110 million in the same period, said Poudel. The total expenditure of the bank was Rs 35.3 million, he added.

Likewise, Birat Laxmi Development Bank earned the net profit worth Rs. 10. 09 million in the 2065-066 fiscal year against the previous year's net profit of Rs. 7. 63 million, according to bank's executive chairman Prabhu Prasad Parajuli.
